Brandon and Katie met many years ago through the Chicago Redline cabaret ensemble. Katie has been singing and dancing with the group for many years, while Brandon has been the drummer in the band. Over the years, they built a wonderful friendship which turned to romance in the Summer of 2018.

 

Katie and Brandon weathered the Pandemic together, living and working from home in a one-bedroom apartment, and came out stronger than ever. (Thank goodness!)

Brandon proposed to Katie on July 27, 2021, on their third anniversary at Bien MeSabe, the restaurant where they had their first date. Katie, of course, said, "Yes, of course!"

In October 2021, after two years of searching, they finally found their perfect home. Slow and steady won the race! They are so excited to celebrate not only their marriage, but their new home!
